Hewlett-Packard was one of the first clients dealing with I-COM.

After having been awarded small and middle size contracts, like the design and the development of a lead management solution for HP France (with sorting and mailing the opportunities identified by HP telesales team to selected partner resellers) I-COM Software won larger international deals.

For instance, HP Greece has deployed a CPRM solution used by its local partner resellers.

HP EMEA rolled out in up to 15 countries “HP Smart Choice”, a solution mixing a BTO configurator (focused on PCs, Workstations and Laptops) and a Shop-in-Shop open to the full HP range of products, including printers. This solution was integrated into HP’s most advanced online partner resellers’ e-commerce web sites. It is still used by HP in 4 countries.

Finally, I-COM Software developed a special release of its “Availability and Stock” Web Service for HP. The application has been used for several years by more than 10 countries.

Xerox’s Purchase Portal is a solution based on I-COM Software’s technology and know-how. Rolled out in several countries in Europe, the system has been set up to welcome up to 600 dealers. In average, they can consult the data of 4 wholesalers per country. Xerox’s Purchase Portal offers Xerox’s sales management a bunch of tools to follow up real time sales and deliveries results. Primarily designed to be a sourcing platform for Xerox’s dealers, the system has evolved and is now a rich Channel-Management Portal offering numerous additional marketing features to boost and leverage the network of dealers.

LEXMARK is one of the leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of printing and imaging solutions for offices and homes.

For LEXMARK EMEA, I-COM Software has developed a Web Service that delivers real time information on products availability and stocks at partner wholesalers. This feature is of great interest for resellers as in a single point they can get an overview on the market availability. The service is part of the numerous application offered to resellers by LEXMARK Extranet. It is operated in 4 countries.

FUJITSU-SIEMENS Computers is one of the biggest manufacturers of computers and IT products in the world and is number one in Europe.

I-COM Software has been working on several projects for the group. For instance, I-COM and Wstore UK have set up an Online Corporate Web-shop for FSC UK. The site has been very successful so far. It promotes both consumers and business PC products, offers rich marketing and product content, comparison sheets and can even welcome 3rd party partner products. Another application is the Web Service “Availability and Stock” operated by I-COM Software for FSC France and used by resellers on FSC France partner Extranet.

Finally, Fujitsu Siemens EMEA built and tested a pilot Shop-in-Shop that could be integrated into the best online partner resellers’ e-commerce site.

NEC has been one of the first manufacturers to purchase and use I-COM Software’s Web Service “Availability and Stock”. The Web Service that was quickly and easily integrated into NEC’s partner Extranet gives on the fly real time availability and stock wholesaler data on hot products. This contributes to position the partner Extranet as the primary source of information for NEC’s network of resellers.

A company of the giant conglomerate DCC, Sharptext is the largest Wholesaler in Ireland. Sharptext selected I-COM Software because it was the only reliable solution to implement both Sharptext’s new E-commerce platform and put together a smaller e-commerce module that could be integrated on demand by some of Sharptext’s resellers. Sharptext’s business portal helps resellers to search and compare products, select and order them. They can follow up the deliveries of orders and related invoices.

On top, for those resellers who are interested, Sharptext can set up quickly and easily customised e-commerce web-shops. Sharptext manages a network of 1400 resellers.

SQP is a Memory Specialist Wholesaler. In touch with more than 1500 resellers, SQP has integrated I-COM Software’s ecommerce application, powering an e-catalogue together with Extranet features to offer online sourcing to its resellers. The solution is linked to SQP’s ERP.

Micro-P’s business portal helps resellers to search and compare products, select and order them. They can follow up the deliveries of orders and related invoices.

I-COM Software has been involved since the very beginning in Wstore France online success. Since Wstore France merged with Inmac, the new company Inmac-Wstore is not only using I-COM’s solutions (E-commerce, sourcing and purchasing, sales force automation, credit collection…) but has requested I-COM’s to monitor the integration within the my SAP ERP.

The Manutan group is a generalist BtoB distant seller. With its 23 subsidiaries in the world, Manutan offers more than 200’000 products in its catalogues and covers all aspects of corporate life meeting the requirement of businesses and local authorities.

Manutan selected I-COM Software as a partner when the company decided to extend its product coverage by integrating IT products (meaning new wholesalers to deal with, additional issues to reference products and so on).

I-COM Software has put together a bunch of features based on its Web Services to back this strategic move.

3 different Web Services are used by Manutan so far:

- The first one helps the catalogue team to identify the new products referenced by wholesalers

- The second one gives an overview on wholesalers’ information to select the best sourcing proposition: pricing, availability and stock levels

- The 3rd one focuses on optimising selling prices
